  1. David any from RRRRico!, Canada writes: I have used the WWW since about 1992. I don't feel that I am affected by advertising on the net at all. I would not advertise on it at all. I check the Dell ads once in a while because I contemplate a little more technology from time to time. If the advertising is obnoxious...doing something to my screen or interfering with the application of this technology....I'm outta there.
I don't know how Google makes money when I look at it. But I do use Google many times a day. I know they have more money than Tejas. I should own Google...but I don't know how they make money. I am sure they have lots of info on me.....but models with big bazooogas are not a new phenomenon. Ohh and I like fast cars....whew what an amazing discovery. Ohh ...I like finacial pages...big deal ...what chump who reads and likes money doesn't?
  2. Mark Orr from toronto, Canada writes: David, I run an ebiz, and internet advertising pretty much drives ALL my traffic. so never underestimate it's power. The fact is, you don't even KNOW if it has affected you. I find it kind of amusing that Google is starting to hedge it's famous philosophy. I think handing over the names of Chinese political dissidents IS evil....sorry no question in my mind at all.
  3. Ivan Shmelev from Toronto, Canada writes: It is interesting. Are governments going to regulate the advertising industry on the Internet ?
  4. John O'Meara from Canada writes: Google did not hand over the names of Chinese dissidents. That was Yahoo (though its e-mail service) I believe.
